How to Use the Applian Recording Tool

If you go to the Applian Technologies website you will see a neat little recording tool. You just type in any site that you want to download from and it will tell you which program you should use. If the site has not been tested yet, someone at Applian Technologies will test the site and email you a response. I am going to show you how easy it is to use this tool.

1. Go to Applian's website.

2. When you arrive you will see this:

3. Enter the name of the site that you would like to capture from:

4. Click Show Me How and a program will be recommended. In this case, for Pandora, Replay Media Catcher is recommended. It also lets me know that Media Catcher will not only capture the songs, but tag them as well. What's really cool is that it allows me to download the demo or check out a list of other sites that Media Catcher works with.

5. Now I am going to enter a random site that I doubt will be in the database:

6. Click Show Me How and a form will pop up.

7. Fill in Your Email and click Submit Request and you will get a a thank you for your request:

8. Now someone from Applian will test the site that you submitted and send you an email to let you know which program works best.
